On 2024 January 21, the charitable foundation "Food for Ukraine" donated food products to Ukrainians worth more than 87 000 000 UAH.

     The NOVUS retail chain, together with the Lithuanian charitable foundation "Food for Ukraine," continues to provide quality products to Ukrainians affected by the Russian invasion.

Every week, trucks with food products cross the Ukrainian border, delivering essential supplies. This initiative ensures that children, elderly people living alone, persons with disabilities, and those who have been displaced due to rocket attacks have access to food. The importance of this support for the population is evident, even when resources become scarce, the commitment to the cause remains strong to ensure the continuation of the charitable program. The primary focus is on children.

"We are grateful to those who understand the profound meaning and support our humanitarian mission," says NOVUS beneficiary Raymondas Tumėnas. To assist the people of Ukraine, NOVUS has brought together donors from European businesses and Lithuanians who wish to contribute.

We witness how every euro translates into significant assistance, in our case, food products. As a result of joint efforts, 91 trucks of quality products have been delivered to the population, which has suffered greatly and requires support. This amounts to 1,910,000 kilograms of food.

The people of Ukraine are currently facing emotional, material, and physical challenges. We believe in extending a helping hand to those in need. In addition to providing food assistance, NOVUS organizes beneficial events and implements charitable initiatives for children, including free heart screenings, developmental workshops, and providing school supplies for underprivileged families and children growing up without parental care. We are confident that supporting children is crucial today as it contributes to the country's stable future.
